In cooperation with our hosting providers, we strive to protect the databases as well as possible from unauthorized access, loss, misuse or falsification.

We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.

Google Analytics

If you have given your consent, Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (‘Google’) is also used on this website. The information generated by cookies regarding your use of this website is, in general, transferred to and stored on a server in the US owned by Google. Due to the activation of IP anonymization on this website, however, your IP address will first be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or other states which are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a server in the US owned by Google and shortened there. Google will use this information, on behalf of the website operator, to analyze your use of the website, to prepare reports on website activities and to provide further services related to website and internet use to the website operator. The IP address transferred from your browser by Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies through a corresponding setting of your browser software; please note, however, that then you might not be able to use all functions of this website in full.

Further information on terms of use and data protection is available at https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/us.html and at https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.

Please note that Google Analytics is configured on this website in a way to ensure anonymous collection of IP addresses (IP masking). Your IP address is recorded but will be pseudonymized immediately. This allows for broad localization only.

The website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically transmits to us in “server log files”. These are:

  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

These data will not be combined with data from other sources.

Should you send us questions via the contact form, we will collect the data entered on the form, including the contact details you provide, to answer your question and any follow-up questions. We do not share this information without your permission.

We will, therefore, process any data you enter onto the contact form only with your consent per Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR. You may revoke your consent at any time. An informal email making this request is sufficient. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.

We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Any mandatory statutory provisions, especially those regarding mandatory data retention periods, remain unaffected by this provision.

The use of Google Web fonts is done in the interest of a uniform and attractive presentation of our website. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font is used by your computer.
